Accessible Charity Websites
Part of the DDA requirements is that websites are accessible and do not discriminate between visitors. It is important the website itself is accessible, it is simply not good enough to provide alternative content for certain visitors. We always ensure that the website developed for charities are accessible to both users and search engines.
Having an accessible website includes but is not limited to:
- The website usable by people of all abilities.
- Ensuring the website functions fully on as many platforms as possible.
- Colour contrast consideration to ensure that colour blind individuals can see and use the website easily.
- Availability of the website to devices such as screen readers.
We look very closely at every aspect of the website’s accessibility and clearly try to understand the target audience, taking every aspect of the charity’s aims into account.
